The Stargas 898 Emissions
Analyser has been designed as a VOSA MOT approved product capable of
testing all vehicle classes. The Combi is a fully integrated, combined
emissions analyser, and was the first exhaust gas analyzer to be OIML
Class O type approved. (European standard)
The unit tests CO, CO2,
HC, O2, NOX (optional), Lambda, RPM, Engine Temperature and Integrated
RPM measuring from the battery as well as environmental condition
measurement: temperature, atmospheric pressure, relative humidity.
Stargas also checks the
correct operation of the Lambda probe throughout its operation period
and is an optional multifunction unit, without the need of being
connected to a PC can be easily switched from exhaust gas testing to
oscilloscope or its onboard integrated diesel smokemeter.
Its 256-colour LCD
(320X240) display gives large clear readings and can be connected to any
monitor or TV using the optional printer cable. Test results can be
printed on its on-board thermal printer and it can even be remotely
controlled through its optional infrared keyboard.
Any data which you require
on the print-out such as vehicle registration, make, model, mileage etc.
can be accepted by the unit whilst the data can be archived to enable
future retrieval and presentation.
The unit requires a
single phase, 16 Amp electrical supply and, like other
GETECH emissions analysers, are usually available from
stock.
