Whilst the information needed to apply to make any changes to; and subsequently gain authorisation of, an MOT bay within the garage is freely available in the public domain, many garage owners save themselves the work involved in successfully navigating these regulations and the VT01 form itself by employing GETECH to perform this function for them.

Site Meeting: We undertake a telephone conference to understand the scope of the changes arranging any site visits if specific information is required for the application requiring specialist measuring and CAD modelling requirements is needed. During this initial visit we will also supply you with any necessary templates and guidance on obtaining the evidence required for your application which will conform to the DVSA's regulation requirement.
CAD Drawings: If required we produce a series of layout options or the final agreed installation drawings to support the application / changes.
Paperwork Checking & Submission: When available, we pre-check your paperwork and make the complete submission on your behalf.
Normally a scheduled change can then be planned to allow a "Seamless" transfer of the testing station between owners whilst minimising the downtime of the testing regime.
If you want to make any changes to a vehicle test station such as if the ownership is changing, then a VT01 form is essential to ensure your test bay is not turned off by DVSA for non-compliance.
