GE5418L MOT Headlight Tester

The GETECH GE5418L is a rail mounted, double laser headlight alignment tester suitable for testing either as a VOSA approved product for use within the MOT scheme or as a standalone diagnosis tool.


It is a quick and efficient product which uses a laser to eliminate the potential parallax errors that are inherent within the design of a mirror visor model. 


A second laser, positioned in front of the target screen, allows accurate positioning of the unit to the test vehicles headlamp bulb to ensure that complete accuracy is attained. 


Not only can the headlamp pattern be quickly determined, with its on-board lux-o-meter, the GE5418L is also capable of checking the intensity of the headlamp beam bulbs just by changing the vehicle lights to full beam and reading the value in Lumens from the integrated digital scale.


GE5418L is a repeatable, accurate and therefore reliable method of assessment and benefits from an 5 year extended parts warranty as standard.

The Executive Summary

Our DVSA approved double laser type headlight tester is approved for testing class 2 (motorcycles), class 4 (car) or class 7 (car, PSV & light commercial) vehicles. 


The double lasers offer the most accurate headlamp aim measurement possible when testing vehicles.
