We undertake a site visit to understand the space envelope available for the MOT bay installation.
As a team, we discuss your requirements for the MOT bay face to face.
From this discussion, we can agree on a final installation arrangement or review the available options, which are then drawn up in CAD for further discussion.
During this initial visit, we will also provide you with the necessary templates and guidance on obtaining the evidence required for your application, ensuring compliance with the DVSA approval process and meeting DVSA regulation requirements for garage equipment installation.
We produce a series of layout options or the final agreed installation drawings to support the garage equipment installation and ensure compliance with the DVSA approval process for MOT bay installation.

Once all your evidence is gathered, we will produce your paperwork and handle the complete submission on your behalf for the DVSA approval process. Typically, within a two-week period, the DVSA will issue an official 'Approval in Principle' (AIP) document, granting you the go-ahead to proceed with the garage equipment installation, including the MOT bay installation, all within a six-month timeframe.

With the installation agreed and pre-approved, we then move on to the realisation phase, which is essential for the DVSA approval process. Although we don’t provide Level 3 Qualifications or NT qualifications ourselves, we assist you in getting placed, especially in regards to garage equipment installation. During this phase, we also manage any site preparation works, ensuring that building work is completed correctly and guiding electricians in their MOT bay installation to make sure that the electrical supplies and feeds are correctly rated and positioned.

With the site ready for the DVSA approval process, our installation team will complete the garage equipment installation at the prepared site. Testing and demonstrating the equipment will occur at this stage, though we are also available for additional support during your initial uses of the equipment, especially before your first live MOT bay installation.
We submit all the pre-installation certification and photographs to the DVSA as part of the DVSA approval process to trigger the final approval visit for your garage equipment installation. Once this has been undertaken, you are normally live for testing within a few days following your MOT bay installation.
